Big Green Week Bulb Planting at the Recreation Ground

Watlington In Bloom in association with WCAG is organising a bulb planting party for the end of

the Great Big Green Week on September 25th from 1 pm to celebrate Watlington’s wide-ranging

contributions to enhance and protect the environment and raise awareness in advance of COP 26

United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow from 31 October to 12 November 2021 under

the presidency of the United Kingdom.

We have the permission of the Parish Council to plant bulbs in the Recreation Ground and want to

include everyone in this great opportunity to improve the local environment. In years to come, you

will be able to look back on a great day out planting bulbs and enjoying the refreshments and

camaraderie and admire your work year after year saying ‘I helped make this happen!’
